We're staying sunny yet again today, with high temperatures in the low 80s. One of the more notable factors of today's weather is the wind. We'll all experience gusts of about 20 mph. That wind will be coming out of the North ushering in cooler air.

Wednesday largely follows suit with today's conditions though it isn't near as windy. Our gradual warm-up continues and becomes more noticeable Thursday-Saturday. Morning temperatures will rise to the upper 50s and afternoon high temperatures will sit in the mid-80s with sunny skies. Those middle 80s will put us nearly 10 degrees above average for this time of year.

Our next weather-maker is a powerful cold front that will feature widespread rain and thunderstorms. The front enters into the Shoals in the wee hours of Sunday morning and lasts
