CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A Cedar Rapids man is charged with multiple crimes after police say he admitted to stealing a golf simulator and thousands of dollars in tools from a site owned by a construction company.
According to a criminal complaint, Kevin Untiedt was seen on surveillance video entering 3010 Center Point Road NE on October 4. The criminal complaint says that location is owned by Nelson Construction and Development.
Investigators say while he was there, Untiedt stole approximately $7,000 worth of tools belonging to Neumiller Electric and a golf simulator belonging to Nelson Construction and Development that’s worth more than $10,000.
