One stinkin’ hit in extra innings and the Detroit Tigers would have beaten the Seattle Mariners in Game 5 of the ALDS and they’d still be playing in the postseason. But instead, their season ended after one of the best games I’ve ever seen – a 3-2 marathon in 15 innings in Seattle.
So, instead of playing more baseball, the Tigers held a season-ending press conference on Monday, Oct.13, at Comerica Park.
