Police are hunting a red car after a pedestrian was deliberately mowed down in Glasgow. ‌

The incident happened around 1pm on Monday, October, 13 on Dalsetter Avenue, in the Drumchapel area of the city. ‌

The vehicle is described as a small red car but police have released no further details on the make or model. ‌

The 51-year-old man was rushed to hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.

The car left the scene prior to police arrival and officers are appealing for information in an effort to trace the car and the driver. ‌

The incident comes after a man was rushed to hospital after being attacked on Drumchapel Road on Friday but Police Scotland said the incidents are not linked.
