A final round of rain showers will move across Massachusetts on Tuesday morning, as cold temperatures wrack the state and the nor’easter moves out.

The rain will be heaviest in Eastern Massachusetts, including in Boston and on Cape Cod & the Islands. This could bring up to two inches of additional precipitation before the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Winds are expected to be blustery with gusts up to 25 mph throughout the morning, keeping the clouds low and rain drizzling.

Skies will begin to clear by the afternoon, with Central and Western Massachusetts drying out first, forecasters said. Some sunshine could be possible by late afternoon.
