Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a Diwali bonus for state government employees, providing festive relief to 14.82 lakh staff. The Uttar Pradesh government will spend Rs 1,022 crore on bonus payments, recognising the dedication of its employees and spreading joy ahead of the festival. The Rajasthan government has also approved ad hoc bonuses for around six lakh employees.
