Four workers were hospitalized after a carbon monoxide emergency at a supermarket in Plaistow, New Hampshire on Monday night, according to fire officials.

Shortly before midnight, authorities began getting calls for an odor and multiple people sickened at the Shaw's on Plaistow Road. Fire and EMS, as well as police, were able to respond and help to get everyone out of the building.

Fourteen workers were there at the time, and officials found a CO reading of 300 parts per million -- which is considered the high end of medium exposure, according to fire officials.
