LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Mostly sunny skies with highs climbing into the mid-70s in most areas this afternoon.

Some scattered clouds are expected to move through on Wednesday, but the weather will still be dry and warm, with highs in the low to mid-70s.

The "Next Big Thing" is a cold front that is set to bring rain and storms Saturday night into Sunday.

Some of the storms Saturday night could be strong, but the best chance for severe weather is west of us.

Cooler air moves in behind the front for early next week.
