After having its God Of War live service game cancelled, Bluepoint Games thankfully has something new in the pipeline.

When people criticise the PlayStation 5 for having no games, what they’re really referring to is the strange dearth of exclusives from Sony’s own first party studios.

Considering the reports of multiple live service games getting canned, it’s widely believed that those studios were working on games as a service titles before then being taken off them again, when flops like Concord proved they weren’t the guaranteed hit Sony initially hoped for.

This has led to some studios going years without releasing anything, such as Demon’s Souls remake developer Bluepoint Games. But if a new job listing is anything to go by, that should hopefully change sooner rather than later.
