Automobile sales recorded a sharp rise during the Navratri period, buoyed by the Goods and Services Tax (GST) 2.0 rate cuts that came into effect on September 22. The survey found that 52 percent of consumers who purchased vehicles between October 6 and October 13 confirmed receiving the full benefit of the GST rate reduction, while another 24 percent said they received partial benefit.
