South Africa’s India-origin left-arm spin bowler Senuran Muthuswamy created history in the first Test vs Pakistan at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. After claiming six wickets in the first innings on Day 2 of the Test, Muthuswamy added five more wickets in the second innings to give the South Africans a huge opportunity to win the game although they conceded a massive 109-run first innings lead.

After getting bowled out for 269 in their first innings in reply to Pakistan’s 378, South Africans struck back by bundling out Shan Masood’s side for just 167. Muth
