FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A “No Kings” protest has been planned near the intersection of U.S. Route 19 and State Route 16 on Bridge Day this Saturday.
According to organizers, “No Kings” is a political protest movement that rejects what organizers view as authoritarian tendencies in President Donald Trump’s second term.
A similar protest was held in June.
The Fayetteville protest is one of multiple planned in West Virginia and around the country.
The protest is scheduled for 9 AM-3 PM, and attendees have been instructed by organizers to use Bridge Day shuttles to reach the protest location.
Bridge Day officials say that this protest is not associated with the event and will not take place inside the event.
