New Delhi: The Centre is planning to open counter terror force National Security Guard’s (NSG), seventh hub in the temple town of Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya, Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced Tuesday.

It is planned to be housed near the famous Ram temple, in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, ensuring its troops are readily available round the clock, Shah further said.

Shah was addressing the troops and senior officials of the NSG on the occasion of the force’s raising day. Shah praised the force for carrying out several successful counter terrorism operations over the years since its inception in 1984. Show Full Article
