MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEVV) — A Madisonville business owner is in jail on several charges after an investigation into the trafficking of fraudulent driver's licenses.

Madisonville Police say they began an investigation into Delgado's Tax Services on West Center Street in early October.

On October 10, an undercover police officer went into the shop and spoke with the owner, 51-year-old Kimberly Brito.

MPD says the officer gave Brito a fake identity and paid her $350 to buy a fraudulent license.

On Monday, police say they served a search warrant at the tax shop and found two fraudulent IDs in Brito's desk.

Brito was arrested and booked into the Hopkins County Jail. She's facing charges of engaging in organized crime and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
