MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Two people were arrested after the Madison Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the city’s east side, MPD confirmed Monday.

The call came in around 7 a.m. Saturday from the 2400 block of Independence Lane.

Responding officers found a car matching the description they were given when they arrived. Two suspects were sitting in the car and were detained.

The two suspects were arrested. One suspect faces charges of resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2 warrants. The other suspect was arrested on a single warrant.
