Although there were no jackpot wins, a couple of Canadian lottery players still had reasons to be grateful over Thanksgiving weekend after scoring some impressive wins.
The Lotto Max draw took place on Friday, Oct. 10, and the winning numbers were 04, 09, 10, 16, 33, 45, 50, and bonus 36. At the time, the jackpot was worth $10 million. But even though no one scored the top prize, three people did match six of the seven numbers and the bonus to win the second prize, worth $48,754.80. The tickets were sold in Vancouver, B.C., Rothesay, N.B., and Ontario.
The third prize will be split among 28 people, each receiving $5,223.70.
