Agartala, 14 th October 2025 : The revered Tripureswari Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peeths is being adorned in vibrant lights and decorations ahead of the upcoming Diwali celebrations. This year, the temple town of Matabari will host a three-day Diwali festival from October 20 to 22, drawing lakhs of pilgrims from across Tripura, other Indian states, neighbouring Bangladesh and beyond.

Today, senior officials including Gomati District Magistrate Rinku Lathar, local MLA Abhishek Debroy and Udaipur Municipal Chairman Shital Chandra Majumder visited the temple premises to oversee preparations. The team inspected key areas such as the Dhanamanikya Mukta Mancha, temple courtyard, and fairgrounds, focusing on security and infrastructure upgrades.
