FAYETTE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - One woman was arrested after a deputy found a large amount of meth in a Fayette County crash. The drug investigation led to a subsequent search of the home leading to the arrest of an Oelwein man and a 16 year old.
The crash took place at 10:39 a.m. Saturday. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash between an SUV and a pickup truck at the intersection of South Burrell Street and West Wilbur Street in Hawkeye.
According to the investigation, Samantha Rae Corsbie, 37, of Garnavillo, was driving the SUV when she entered the intersection to turn onto South Burrell Street.
At the same time, the truck, driven by Regina Larson, 52, of Oelwein, oversteered while turning onto West Wilbur Street and hit the SUV.
