Stillwater Public Schools announced a $600,000 donation from Google on Monday to support local education and energy efficiency initiatives across the district.

Funding Breakdown

The donation includes for energy efficiency upgrades at district schools and for new classroom equipment for kindergarten, first grade, and Stillwater High School.

The district plans a comprehensive LED retrofit to reduce long-term energy costs while improving learning environments. Officials estimate the upgrades will lower energy consumption by 2,447,476 kilowatt-hours, translating to annual savings of more than $342,600.
