Plans have been submitted that would see a former hospital in Glasgow ’s east end turned into flats.
19 new homes are proposed for the former Duke Street Hospital building in Dennistoun.
The Category B-listed building, dating from 1904, would be turned into affordable flats for Loretto Housing Association, part of Wheatley Group.
The building has been empty since 2016 and developers say it requires “significant remedial work”.
The gatehouse building once formed the entrance to the Eastern District Hospital, which served Glasgow’s east end for almost a century.
