A controversial video by U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem blaming Democrats for the federal government shutdown is being shown at some airports nationwide, but not at Erie's airport.

The video shown at some airport Transportation Security Administration check-ins since Oct. 9 features Noem saying, "It is TSA’s top priority to make sure that you have the most pleasant and efficient airport experience as possible while we keep you safe. However, Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government, and because of this, many of our operations are impacted and most of our TSA employees are working without pay," Fox News first reported.

The government shutdown has resulted in numerous flight delays. Nineteen thousand flights were delayed in just four days, from Oct. 6-9, US
