Halle Berry is celebrating a major milestone for her 17-year-old daughter Nahla Ariela, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. The 59-year-old actress took to Instagram on Monday (Oct. 13), to announce that Nahla had received an early college acceptance.

“Congratulations to my sweet Angel Nahla for her early college acceptance!” Berry wrote in an Instagram Story. The post included a pink funfetti cake with “You did it Nahla!!” written in white icing.

The celebratory treat was placed inside a box labeled “Today is the sweetest day.”

Besides Nahla, Berry is also the mother of 12-year-old Maceo-Robert, whom she shares with ex-husband Olivier Martinez.
