(WJET/WFXP) – Four people are dead following a car crash in Mercer County last week.

On Friday, October 10, Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Mercer responded to a crash in Lackawannock Township.

According to police, a Chevrolet Corvette, driven by a 21-year-old man, was driving eastbound at a high rate of speed on Mercer West Middlesex Road towards its intersection with Orchard Road.

Another vehicle, a Toyota Tacoma driven by a 76-year-old man, was travelling westbound on Mercer West Middlesex Road and attempted to make a left turn onto Orchard Road.

In the process of making the left turn, the Corvette struck the Tacoma head-on.
