India on Tuesday lifted temporary suspension on postal services to the United States. Following this announcement, all categories of international postal services to the US, will resume effective October 15, after a period of suspension. Postal services to the US were suspended on August 22, following Executive Order 14324 by the US Administration, which revoked de minimis treatment for all postal shipments. The suspension was implemented due to new US regulations requiring upfront duty collection and remittance on all incoming postal items.
