The Indianapolis International Airport will not show a Department of Homeland Security video that blames the ongoing government shutdown on Democrats, joining a growing list of airports that have refused to play videos to travelers that they view as expressively political.
In the video that began airing at airports nationwide on Oct. 9, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem says "Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government, and because of this, many of our operations are impacted and most of our TSA employees are working without pay," according to a video posted online by CNN .
The Indianapolis Airport Authority says it will not broadcast the video at Indianapolis International Airport because it goes against the airport's rules for what media the airport can show, officials
