"No Kings" protests are planned nationwide Oct. 18 to oppose the deployment of the National Guard to Democrat-led cities, the immigration enforcement crackdown and other actions taken by the Trump administration.
The protest is a follow-up to a June 14 "No Kings" protest which coincided with President Donald Trump's 79th birthday and a large military parade celebrating the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary taking place on the same day in Washington, D.C.
The "No Kings" theme was coordinated by The 50501 Movement — 50 states, 50 protests, one day.
The protests are using the slogan "No thrones. No crowns. No kings." More than 2,500 protests are planned across the country.
At least 70 protests are planned in about 65 cities around Oregon. Here is where "No Kings" protests are happening aro
