NEW MEXICO (KRQE) — Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull officially announced his campaign to run for the 2026 New Mexico governor's race. He is the first Republican in the running.
Hull originally said he was exploring the idea of running back in April. He made it official with the launch of a campaign video on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 14.
Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman, former U.S. Representative for New Mexico's First Congressional District Deb Haaland, and Former Las Cruces Mayor Ken Miyagishima have also declared their candidacy for next year's race.
