You may not have known the name Drew Struzan until now, but it's all but a guarantee that you've admired his art at least once.

Struzan, who died at the age of 78 and who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease years ago, was known for painting incredible movie posters for series Star Wars, Back to the Future and Indiana Jones. Each one was gorgeous, with vivid colors and life-like portraits that really did look like the actors and actresses.

As we mourn the loss of the legendary artist, we can admire some of his incredible work posted on his Instagram account:
