Taco Bell partnered with Frank's RedHot for new chicken menu items.

Taco Bell is expanding its chicken menu options through a new partnership with Frank's RedHot.

The chain announced on Oct. 14 the launch of three new food items, the return of its chicken strips plus a sauce collaboration with Frank's RedHot.

The latest chicken items include a burrito, soft taco and nacho fries, as well as a new Frank's RedHot Diablo Sauce. The full lineup will be available at Taco Bell starting Oct. 16.

"This collab demonstrates the versatility of Frank’s RedHot by bringing its characteristic balance of bold flavor and heat to ignite every bite, reimagining these classics with a partner that’s just as sauce obsessed as we are," said Valda Coryat, vice president of marketing at McCormick & Company Inc., in a statement.

While Taco Bell's items are traditionally made with ground beef, the chain has been pushing into the chicken market, first with nuggets earlier this year. The company previously said it would add crispy chicken to menus permanently by 2026.

The headliner of Taco Bell's new items is its Frank's RedHot Diablo Sauce, which is described as a blend of its existing Diablo sauce with Frank's Red Hot's classic buffalo flavor and spicy ranch.

When are Taco Bell's new chicken items available?

The new Taco Bell Frank's RedHot chicken items will be available beginning Oct. 16.

As with other crispy chicken releases, the items will only be available for a limited time, according to Taco Bell.

"Frank’s RedHot Diablo raises the bar, serving up a Buffalo sauce remix that proves Crispy Chicken isn’t just a fling, it’s here for the long haul," Taco Bell said in a release. "With eyes still set on locking in fan-favorite crispy chicken items permanently, the future of Taco Bell is crispy."
