In the leadup to Missouri football’s game against Alabama this past Saturday in Columbia, the MU offensive coordinator’s name was linked to the open head-coaching vacancy at Arkansas.
A report from On3’s Riley McFerran on Oct. 6 said that Kirby Moore, who is in his third season as the Tigers ’ offensive play-caller, had interviewed for the position in Fayetteville, which has been left vacant after Sam Pittman was fired earlier this season.
Mizzou head coach Eli Drinkwitz on Tuesday called that report a “complete lie.”
