The hosts, after winning the toss and electing to bat, posted 258 for 6 in their allotted 50 overs.
Chamari Athapaththu top-scored with 53 off 72 balls, while Vishmi Gunaratne contributed 42 runs. Harshitha Samarawickrama made a brisk 26, and Nilakshi de Silva remained unbeaten on 55.
Despite contributions from the middle order, the match could not proceed further owing to persistent rain.
