Travelers won’t be seeing a video of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem blaming Democrats for the federal government shutdown at Boston Logan International, joining other airports across the country in not displaying the message.

Massport spokeswoman Jennifer Mehigan has confirmed to the Herald that the video is not being played at its airports, which also include Hanscom Field in Bedford and Worcester Regional, because the quasi-state agency “never received a request” to display it.

“Besides, there are no video screens at our TSA checkpoints,” Mehigan told the Herald via email Tuesday afternoon.
