A beloved young mum and charity worker has passed away suddenly at just 22 years old.

Fresh university graduate Nicole Leighfield, who leaves behind a young son, was hailed as a "bright light" by those who knew her. Nicole served as assistant manager at Hope GB, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and their families throughout south Wales.

Her sudden passing on October 10 has created what colleagues have described as a "huge hole in the heart" of the organisation.

Nicole, who harboured dreams of becoming a teacher, was celebrated for her vibrant character, wit, and unwavering dedication to the young people and families under her care, reports Wales Online .
