Rookie Dylan Harper neared a double-double effort Monday on the road, helping the San Antonio Spurs remain unbeaten through four preseason games.

Harper produced 11 points, eight assists and two steals in a 124-108 victory over the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. He went 4-of-8 from the field and was a plus-11 in 22 minutes off the bench in his second preseason appearance.

The No. 2 pick was sidelined for the first two games of the preseason after undergoing left thumb surgery on Sept. 6. He has been working extensively on getting completely back into game shape and was pleased with his performance against the Pacers.

"It felt good being out there, playing with the guys, getting our chemistry together," Harper said. "I think getting my wind back day by day, game by game, so it definitely felt great being out there and winning."

Harper debuted on Friday, recording nine points and three assists in 18 minutes in an overtime win over the Utah Jazz. Spurs coach Mitch Johnson was thrilled to have him available to play and get the chance to run their offense and play in a competitive setting again.

The 19-year-old has rarely shown much rust on the court after putting together a couple of solid performances. His addition to the roster projects to give Johnson & Co. extra versatility in the backcourt, next to the likes of De'Aaron Fox, Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell.

The Spurs wrap up their preseason slate Friday with a second matchup against the Pacers at Frost Bank Center. The contest will give Harper another chance to fine-tune some details on the court and adjust to the increased competition level.

"Everyone at this level is just as good as everyone else," Harper said. "Just trying to find that edge of where you fit in at, I think, is the biggest thing. But overall, at the end of the day, it is just basketball. You got to go out there and play."
