Family and friends are mourning the loss of Mary Drake Farr, who died last week after succumbing to injuries sustained in a downtown Senoia crash this spring.

Farr, 63, was struck by a vehicle around 12:40 p.m. May 24 at the intersection of Main and Johnson streets, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Investigators said a 2017 Jeep Wrangler traveling north on Main Street failed to stop at a stop sign and struck Farr as she crossed westbound in the crosswalk.

She was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital with critical injuries and remained under medical care for months before passing away from complications related to those injuries.

The investigation remains active, and charges are pending against the driver, according to GSP.
