SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Happy Tuesday, Utah! Our Tuesday will feature partly cloudy skies and windy conditions as a potent front moves into Utah. Highs will warm into the upper 60s to lower 70s across northern Utah and highs will warm into the mid 70s for SW Utah. Winds will increase throughout the day with areas of the West Desert and SW Utah gusting up to 50 mph. A Wind Advisory remains in effect through late Tuesday evening for SW Utah.

A line of showers and thunderstorms will develop across north and central Utah Wednesday morning and sweep across the state between 6am- 2pm Wednesday afternoon. These storms could produce areas of locally heavy rain, gusty winds, small hail, and frequent lightning. The wind will continue to howl outside of any thunderstorms through Wednesday night. •
