Paddy Pimblett has been boosted to No.6 in the latest UFC lightweight rankings update.

Pimblett has now moved up three spots in the last two months, despite not having fought since dominating Michael Chandler at UFC 314 in April .

The victory cemented 'The Baddy' as one of the top contenders at 155lbs as he now eyes a fight with UFC lightweight champion and bitter rival Ilia Topuria .

As shown by the latest rankings update, Pimblett is now one step closer to getting a Topuria fight.

The UFC rankings received a fresh look following UFC Rio last weekend, where Charles Oliveira submitted Mateusz Gamrot in a special homecoming for the Brazilian.
