UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili will go for history in the UFC 323 main event when he tries for his fourth title defense of 2025, this time in a rematch with Petr Yan.

Dvalishvili (21-4 MMA, 14-2 UFC) looks to become the first UFC champion to defend his/her title four times in a calendar year. The 34-year-old defeated Umar Nurmagomedov in January, former champion Sean O'Malley in June, and Cory Sandhagen earlier this month at UFC 320.
Since he lost a unanimous decision to Dvalishvili in March 2023, Yan (19-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC) has won three consecutive fights. All three have been unanimous decisions against Song Yadong, Deiveson Figueiredo, and Marcus McGhee respectively.

According to DraftKings, Dvalishvili is a sizeable -300 favorite to extend his winning streak to 15 fights against Yan, who is a +250 underdog to take the title and become a two-time UFC champion.
