Politico obtained seven months of Telegram chats between young GOP leaders based in New York, Kansas, Arizona, and Vermont. The leaked messages reveal Young Republican leadership discussing using gas chambers to handle political opponents, "watermelon people," and confer a love of Hitler.

They referred to Black people as monkeys and "the watermelon people" and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies and driving them to suicide and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.
