Letters to the editor: Vote yes on Prop 50

Thanks for your strong editorial in support of Proposition 50 in our November 4 statewide special election. [“To curb Trump, vote yes on Prop 50,” October 9] I've worked with many LGBTQ and other volunteers writing over 1,000 postcards to California voters, knocking on voters' doors, and contacting each of our circles of influence to bring attention to this short term electoral fix.

I write to highlight that, unlike the usual daunting California ballot that voters need to allot a couple of hours to study, this election has only this one quick question: Prop 50. This turns our focus to voting your ballot, and signing and dating the return envelope by mail or in person at San Francisco City Hall (or at designated drop boxes in San Francisco and other cities) as soon as you can, so you insur
