MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Brewers showed plenty of fight in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series, but it was the Los Angeles Dodgers who emerged victorious with a 2-1 win.
The story of the night was Dodgers pitcher Blake Snell, who dominated with eight scoreless innings, recording 10 strikeouts and retiring 17 batters in a row.
"I think you have to tip your cap. He executed really well. We had our game plan going in. He did a really good job, just living low, really living on the edges. The toughest part was locating his changeup down — that created some issues for us. Yeah, just tip your cap to him," Caleb Durbin said.
