The chairwoman of the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority, Michelle Lahaye, has been removed from her position.
Despite several emails to board members, including Coun. Lana Mitchell and the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority, few details are being released regarding the change in leadership.
“Michelle Lahaye is no longer serving as chair of the NBMCA Board,” according to the conservation authority in a media release issued Tuesday around 3 p.m.
“As of Oct. 10, Vice-Chair Lana Mitchell has assumed the role of Acting Interim Chair. This change was approved during the members’ meeting on Oct. 9.”
No further information was provided.
This comes as the conservation authority deals with top managers leaving on their own and others being escorted out.
