A Woodville woman was arrested after a shooting over the weekend.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, on Sunday, deputies responded to a shots fired call during a property dispute on Highway 72 in Woodville.

When deputies arrived, they determined shots were fired through a door into a residence.

The sheriff's office says the occupants of the residence were not injured, but 36-year-old Ashlee Poma was taken into custody on the scene and charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling.

Poma has since been released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
