House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) made a strange admission about how he is addressing the government shutdown on Tuesday.

The federal government has been shut down for nearly two weeks after Congress failed to pass a spending package ahead of the Sept. 30 deadline. Johnson, who has repeatedly blamed Democrats for the shutdown, told reporters on Tuesday that he has “no strategy” when it comes to resolving the issue.

CNN’s Manu Raju asked Johnson on Tuesday when he needs to “change” his strategy.

“It’s a great question. Manu asked, ‘Why don’t I change my strategy?’ I don’t have any strategy,” Johnson responded.
