LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department announced the closure of a popular Lincoln street.

On Wednesday, Havelock Avenue between Cornhusker Highway and Touzalin Avenue will close from 8 a.m. to noon for wastewater line flushing.

The recommended detour route is Cornhusker Highway to 70th Street to Havelock Avenue.

According to LTU, the project date is scheduled to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
