SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A water main break in Millcreek could be causing delays for the next eight hours.
According to a post from the Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities (SLCPU), the water main break is on 3300 South, between 1100 East and 1300 East. SLCPU handles water for that part of Millcreek City.
The westbound lanes on 3300 S are closed while crews work on repairs, and SLCPU estimates that those lanes will remain closed for the next eight hours. The city asks that drivers in the area exercise caution and follow posted signs.
Locals may be experiencing low to no water pressure until the repairs are completed.
