Roy Keane has questioned the excuses behind why Marcus Rashford might have struggled in recent seasons at Manchester United .

Rashford moved to FC Barcelona on a season-long loan deal in July after being deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Ruben Amorim. The Catalan giants have the option to make his move permanent for £30million in 2026.

Following the 27-year-old's standout performances since September's international break - Barca are reportedly keen to secure the England forward, but are hoping for a cut-price deal of around £26m. The Reds academy graduate has three years left on his current contract at Old Trafford , which he signed in July 2023 after scoring a career-best 30 goals for United in the 2022/2023 season.
