OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One of the three men arrested on a reckless driving charge made his first appearance in court Tuesday afternoon.

20-year-old Angelo Inserra was arrested felony flight to avoid arrest and willful reckless driving in the area of 49th Street and Capitol Avenue on Sunday.

Inserra’s bond was set at $15,000, and the charge of flight to avoid arrest could land him up to two years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.

Court documents say Inserra had been driving on a suspended license since June because his insurance was canceled.

Inserra also has a prior conviction of willful reckless driving from 2024.

According to court documents, OPD was advised a vehicle was doing cookies in the area around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
