DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado is still waiting for extended autumn temperatures.

The Denver weather forecast continues to feature fluctuating temperatures, with Wednesday expected to be the warmest day of the week. Although the metro will stay mostly dry, the area will see a return of windy conditions.

Weather tonight: Mild and breezy

Denver's average low temperature is now in the 30s, but the metro area will stay well above normal once again, thanks in part to breezy south winds. Expect lows on Wednesday morning to only be in the upper 40s to low 50s. Winds will blow around 10 to 15 mph.

Weather tomorrow: Near record highs

Wednesday will be warm and windy. Winds continue to blow from the south with gusts of around 30 mph possible. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s. Denve
