PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County judge has ordered an 18-year-old to remain in jail until trial in connection to the shooting death of a teenager earlier this month.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says Jaxson Robinson is charged with First Degree Murder in connection to the shooting death of 15-year-old Keyaun Hardimon on October 1st.
Robinson was arrested last week by US Marshals and Peoria Police after being identified as a suspect.
Prosecutors say Robinson was one of four people allegedly in the basement of a West Bluff home with Hardimon when the shots were fired. The others alleged to have been in the basement are 18-year-old Cortez Smith, 18-year-old Curtis Jones, and 27-year-old Jafari Robinson.
Smith and Jafari Robinson are also charged with First-Degree Murder.
